The Windows 7 Blooper.

As operating system lauches go, Windows 7 is running just fine. Their reviews are mostly useful in aiding the decision making process of consumers but there were a couple of hiccups that Misrosoft fail to oversee.

Windows 7 launch party packs were mostly greeted with cynical and sarcastic remarks. Lets face it, who needs a napkin, tote bags, balloons and a couple of streamers when what the consumers want are just the Windows 7 Ultimate edition contained in that box.

Another thoughtfully planned out marketing campaign for Microsoft was to work with Burger King because their consumers apparently love burgers. Microsoft managed to convince Japan’s Burger King to sell a 7 all-beef patties stacked on top of each other like poker chips. That tower of beefy goodness is called the Windows 7 Whopper.

Don’t get me wrong, I do love Burger King as much as the next guy but I can’t help to imagine how one might feel after wolfing down this humongous hunk of meat.

Bloated? Greasy? Queasy?

Is that the reaction that Microsoft wants their users to feel when using Windows 7? Because that’s how I felt when using Windows Vista.
